(like a charade). -Ask students about what good and bad things about deserts are. -Ask students to imagine that they're stuck in the desert, what are the things they'll miss most and least?
Ask students to guess what our lesson will be about in order to raise the skill of prediction .
Before reading, I'll do the pre-teaching vocabulary in order to unblock the meaning of the new words that may hinder their understanding, I'll use the (ECDW) elicit, CCQs, drill, and write on the whiteboard. (be) cut of from the world Pastry go mad
Put students in 2 groups and ask students to read the whole text quickly and come up with a new title for the text. Discuss the reason why they chose this title for the text. Make sure that they read quickly and that they don't have to understand every single word.
I will ask students to scan the text to locate some specific information to answer Ex12d that's about the names of each person . I will ask students to check the answers in pairs. I will show students the Feedback on the PPT.
Give students some challenging questions in Ho3 that require intensive reading. Ask students to read slowly and try to find the answers. Ask students to check the answers in pairs before show the feedback on the projector.
Ex 12a – I will put students into groups and ask each group to make a list of the things that you will miss most and the thing that you will miss least, I will ask students to discuss the answers in an open class feedback.
