Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shows Ss a group of pictures related to graduates and future plans and asks them to guess what the topic of the class will be. T writes ideas on the Jamboard presentation

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T shares a Google presentation slide with a table that Ss will complete with information about 4 graduates the first column is what they have been studying and the other their future plans/ideas. They will listen to the recording and complete the table individually after that T nominates some Ss to check the answers. Nora -- Degree in Drama Education / Teach Drama in a secondary school Oliver -- Degree in Ancient History / Join the army Dino -- Fashion / having a holiday, master's degree Caroline -- Modern languages/break and work After that T shares a Google form with some questions for students to answer about the listening task. They will choose the correct answer according to each person's future plans. T checks the answers with the whole group

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Meaning Stage: T shares with Ss a Wordwall link in which Ss will complete the meaning with the correct future form, they will work individually and then check answers with the whole group. Form Stage: T shares another link from Wordwall but this time they will have to complete the structure for each future form and then T nominates Ss to check answers and writes each structure on a Jamboard slide along with an example. Pronunciation: T shows the same examples from the previous exercise but this time they will identify the sentence stress by listening to the teacher drill the sentence.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

T shares with Ss a Google Forms link in which they will use prompts to make future sentences. They will work in pairs and then T nominates Ss to check answers and provide feedback Answer key: a. I'm planning to study engineering b. My sister is thinking of joining the army c. I'm due to take my driving test next week d. Alex says he is not going to apply for university e. I know I won't get the job

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T shares a Wordwall link with Ss that contains a roulette with conversation questions they will have to complete and ask their classmates using future forms. T monitors and note mistakes for feedback
