in this lesson the students are going to learn about connectors . the class starts by a matching task . to make them think about the differences between the meanings of the connectors . and then the teacher explains the grammar afterwards, the session will end by another task which is a little more complicated . to make sure that they have learned the grammar completly.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

in this part teacher starts setting the main aim of the lesson which is connectors by reading a short text that used this connectors.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

in this part teacher starts the lesson by giving them a true or false task to make them understand the difference between connectors. and then asks them to guess the difference and meaning of the connectors .

Clarification (5-6 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

in this part the teacher clears the meaning , use and the difference between the connectors by making some similar sentences that shows the obvious difference. and then asks the students to make some sentences based on what they have just learned .

Controlled Practice (3-4 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

in this part the students will be doing a true or false and a matching task individually, to help the teacher know whether if they have understood the concept of the grammar or not .

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

in this part the students are going to have 8 to 10 minutes to make a short story about shopping with their friends or favorite person working in pairs, using, because, so, but although. and then read it for the class and change rolls .
