Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

review vocabulary from last lesson (fixing, cleaning, painting, feeding, washing, doing...) How's the weather today? (It's rainy) Do you like rainy weather?

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

board and drill new vocab. (tall, short, young, old, pretty, ugly, big, small, loud, quiet) say in complete sentences using contractions I'm tall. She's tall. He's tall. It's tall. We're tall. You're tall. They're tall. ...repeat with all adjectives.

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
