Procedure

Warmer/lead_in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher starts talking about her last travel to the north of Iran with her family which spent badly because one of her company complained a lot during the travel. She asks students if they ever have a bad vacation with a bad comany

Pre reading /lestening (5-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

In this stage the teacher is going to teach students some vocabularies of the text through pictures about recreational activities that could be done in vacation . The students are trying to guess the words from pictures

While reading 1 (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging scan and specific information reading tasks

The students are going to answer the question: why did not the writer enjoy his vacation ? They are given about 3 minutes to find the answer and share it with the class

While reading 2 (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed , deduction and inference reading tasks

The students are going to read the text deeper and answer questions 1_4 in part a. They will check their answers with the whole class

Post_reading (10-15 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on they've learned

The students are going to be divided into groups and discuss their ideal summer vacation they like to go by themselves or with someone they think get along with
