Description

In this lesson students will look at clothing that is used in different climates. According to the last class that the vocabulary of the weather was practiced, it will begin with a dictation with the climates that they know, from that images of various articles of clothing will be shown, the students will point out what climate it is related to, the students will talk and go to write some items of clothing according to their weather for the end make sentences of the item related to the weather

Main Aims

  • To provide practice of the weather in clothes in the context of write different items of clothing according to the weather sunny example: blouse, shorts, glasses, dress, hat, among others

Subsidiary Aims

  • The students get to know the clothes in climates putting into practice the writing to complete in sentences

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Start the class by remembering the climates that we met through a time wheel, turn the wheel and we will pronounce the weather that comes out, with that, a dictation begins on how to write that weather.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

Show the students images of clothes, the students observe and in a group make the pronunciation and how to write each clothes

Task (5-8 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

When the students know how each clothing is written in a group we will classify each clothing according to the weather

Planning (10-12 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to plan students' reports

The students will write the climates in their notebooks and write down the clothes that are used in that climate. They can be accompanied by drawings. To continue from that, several sentences will be written on the board where words must be completed, for example, in sunny weather it is used as clothing for the upper part of the body. The student already writes at his option

Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

Observe the students' responses to their prayers, analyzing whether a good understanding is being given or whether they are having difficulty

Language Analysis (6-8 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language

In a group way we already clarified the doubts that arose and gave the participation of the students to write on the blackboard the missing word of the sentence

Language Practice (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

Pronounce as a group how the complete sentences would remain and from that the students pronounce by themselves
