Description
In this lesson students learn about the seasons of the year.
Materials

To provide scan reading practice using a text about seasons
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of seasons
Procedure (34-47 minutes)
Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language
Make a game on the blackboard, place images of the seasons of the year and their name, the students will have to match it with their image.
Teach (8-12 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
Use the images to teach students how to identify what season it is, practice pronunciation as a group
Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test
Give the students a copy where they will have to write the season in the corresponding image and paint the images.
Free practice (10-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
Students will pronounce one by one the seasons of the year, correct pronunciation
