Procedure (25-37 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
I will play the song of the months of the year and the students will try to sing it
Exposure (5-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
I will put the months in order and the students together will pronounce after me the month that I indicate
Highlighting (4-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
5 students will pass one by one to order the months correctly
Clarification (5-8 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
Write the meaning of each month on the blackboard and the students will copy it in their English notebook
Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
The students will solve a word search where the months will come in English and paste it in their English notebook
