Description

In this last lesson the students will carry out a survey, first a test will be applied to the students according to the past lessons of that, they will carry out a group survey related to the weather and at the last one they will carry out the survey towards a classmate.

Materials

Main Aims

  • To provide products, students are expected to complete a written survey with a classmate about the weather.

Subsidiary Aims

  • That students know the opinions of each student in relation to a climate survey

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Make a reminder with the students of what we saw in past classes with the use of flashcards and images where the pronunciation will be used

Test #1 (10-15 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Have students do a test based on what we learned about climates, what clothes are worn in climates, and the weather calendar.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

Start with an activity where we are going to ask several questions for your survey, these can be: Do you prefer sunny or rainy days? o Have you ever experienced a snow storm? students can brainstorm so that it comes together as a group

Test #2 (5-8 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

confirm which questions are for the survey and accommodate students the questions with a space

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Carry out the students of the survey towards another classmate by reading the questions and writing their answer
