Description

In this lesson you have as expected learning the seasons of the year, as well as the clothing that is used in each of them, to comply with the learning, it is intended to carry out the presentation of didactic cards to be able to learn with the representation of the images.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The students will observe the name of the articles of clothing in the different seasons of the year, which will be written on the board.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

The students will play a dynamic game in Wordwall about the names of the different items of clothing in the seasons of the year.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Show the students the flashcards of the articles of clothing with their names for each of them, in order to introduce the correct spelling.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Indicate to the students the meaning of each of the names of the garments with the support of the images.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Write on the board the name in English and Spanish of each of the items of clothing and show in the same way the images that represent each item of clothing.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Give the student an exercise to identify the correct name for each item of clothing.
