Procedure (45-59 minutes)
Begin class by showing pictures representing different farm animals and ask students to identify them. Lead a brief discussion about what other animals know.
Present with flashcards and explain the different animals that can be found on the farm, what they eat, the size of each of the animals.
Draw students attention to the target language using vocabulary word cards, and related to the names of farm animals (rooster, hen, cow, horse, pig, sheep, goat)
Provide explanations and examples to clarify the meaning, form, and pronunciation of the target language. Give examples of what the habitat of different farm animals is like (rooster, hen, cow, horse, pig, sheep, goat).
Provide white sheets where students practice on what they have learned.
conduct a class discussion or activity in teams of up to five students where students discuss what animal they knew lived on the farm.
Show all the students pictures of the animals, ask them to look at the pictures and explain to them what their size is, what they eat, and what their habitats are like on the farm.
