The student watches two videos samples of ELTS speaking test part 3. The topics of the tests are "helping others" and "celebrities" in order. After watching each video, the student and the teacher discuss the candidates' replies, where they went wrong and where the answers were correct and to the point. The teacher's main focus is to get the student's attention to the way each candidate elaborates their answers using examples and explanation.
The teacher provides the student with samples of exemplification, explanation and clarification. Sentence structures necessary to achieve these tasks are revised and practiced by the student.
After revising and practicing exemplification, explanation and clarification, the teacher proceeds to ask general questions of IELTS speaking test part 3 on topics of education, electronic devices, helping others and celebrities.
In the last part of the lesson, the teacher works on the notes he takes on the student's performance during the production phase of the lesson. The main focus of the feedback is pronunciation, grammar structures and choice of vocabulary. The student is also given speaking test assignments for each of the week.
