Procedure (36-45 minutes)
Students will play a Kahoot to review some holiday activities. Followed by DEC showing the answers and using CCQs on some items that proved problematic in the group.
I will explain how some holiday activities can only be collocated with certain verbs (MFP) Using Jamboard. They will work in BORs on a Google Forms activity using the target language before OCFB.
I will review adverbs of frequency using a thermometer as an illustration to use along with the holiday activities vocabulary.
Students will talk in groups of three about how often the do the holiday activities. For example: In the summer, I sometimes go to the beach with friends or family. We usually go by car. We always have a good time. During this time I will monitor and register language errors on a Jamboard.
Using the errors registered from the previous stage, I will ask students to try to look for what to improve in the sentences I point out.
