Tell student you are going to work with the words that appeared in blue in the text. In slides 3, 4 and 5 work on MFP of each word. Remember to model and drill pronunciation first, as a group and the individually. For each word focus on: • What does it mean? • What type of word is it, e.g, adverb, adjective, verb etc? • Where is the word typically placed in a sentence? • What sounds in the word the word might be difficult for students? • Which part of the word is stressed?
