To provide clarification of new vocabulary about jobs, feelings, and plans in the context of Future plans
Procedure (45-73 minutes)
I will start talking about my own exhaustion which has led me into a decision for my future and I will teach necessary words of; exhausted / paramedic / fed up / dearly / retire / debts / regret.
I will ask them about their opinion about the mentioned situation and furthermore if they have any plans for their future. Then we will have a group game in which they will write a sentence and I will write the correct form of it on the table without pointing their mistakes directly and other students will have to guess whose plan is each. then I will ask a question from any of them to elicit more information and ask he/she to do the same from someone else. I will encourage them to participate yet I WON'T correct their mistakes.
asking them to open their books and Do exercises 2 and 3 on page 50 in pair.
we will go trough the grammar spot and elicit the grammar points. I shall write the different ways of verb pattern on the board for them.
they will be asked to do exercise 1 on page 51 indivually yet checking with their partners. then I will make 2 groups and hand them the HO. after their done each member of a group will be paired with a member of the opposing group to check and discuss their answers
students now will be making sentences with the left options of Ex 1 in pairs. and they will start to do Ex 3 and try to expand the convo with their pair.
they will be encouraged to dicuss about their current life and future in a milling activiy. I will write questions on board and each students can choose someone to answer that question. once its done in the second round students should explain someone else's plan to practice 3rd singular forms
They will be asked to do WK till Ex 5 Pp 32-3 also making sentences and send you a voice record with the new vocabularies
