1. T will share screen to show a Google Form with a screenshot of a text from the course book. 2. T will instruct Ss to read the text for gist to answer the question at the bottom. 3. After time is up T will split Ss up into pairs to check their answer with each other. 4. Once time is up T will bring Ss back into the main room and go over the correct answer and where to find it.
1. T will begin by sharing screen showing a different Google Form with the same text, but this time with a new set of questions. 2. T will instruct Ss that they must read the text again, but this time they must identify the information that is found in each (lettered) paragraph. 3. After time is up T will split Ss into pairs to check their answers and where they found the information in the text. 4. After time is up, T will bring Ss back into the main Zoom call and go over the correct answers as a group eliciting answers from Ss and checking to see if everyone got the correct answer. If everyone got the answers wrong T will display the correct answer and where on the paragraph the information could be found.
1. T will instruct Ss that they must now write a story about a frightening experience they have had. It can be about something that happened to them or someone they know. 2. After time is up ask Ss to answer certain details about their writing.
1. T will now instruct Ss that they must now work in pairs to read and write a short review about their partner’s writing. (all on Google docs) 2. After time is up T will bring Ss back into the main zoom call and ask about what their partner’s stories were about and what they wrote about it.
Correct any mistakes T might have heard during the lesson
