Procedure

Warmer (5-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- T greets Ss and show first slide about how has the world changed in the last fifty years/in your lifetime? - Ss are given 5-6 minutes to discuss the question that they are to answer about the first silde. T- elicits from the answer that they came up for the question.

Lead-in/Pre-Reading (5-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

- T shows slide about what do you think the five worst inventions of all time are? - Ss are given 5-10 minutes to discuss the question that they are to answer about the first silde. T- elicits from the answer that they came up for the question.

While-Reading (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading tasks

- T shows slides with true or false questions and introduce challenging vocabulary from the text - Ss read the true or false questions individually and in groups of 3-4 read the text and answer true or false questions

Post-Reading (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

- T shows slide with true or false questions correct answers with Ss and discuss answers in pairs - Ss are given 8-10 minutes to discuss the question that they are to answer about the first silde. T- elicits from the answer that they came up for the question in groups.

Feedback (3-5 minutes) • to provide feedback on the language and content of the freer practice
