In this lesson students will read ,write and talk about future world and how everything will change

Main Aims

  • To provide thinking and revolving around the context of future world and then revolving around it and share the ideas in the class

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide product writing practice of a essay in the context of future world

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I start with some sentences to provide brainstorm and direct the class to the main subject. for example: Have you ever dreamed about future of this world ? What would it be like? Any ideas?

Reading and scene of model text (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

First of all we have a reding which is about diary of a girl talking about future world and students engage with the topic and answer some following questions and activities.

Focus on lay out and Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Ask the students to personalize the situation and write about their own dream of future world and fill some blank spaces in the book's table.

Writing (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

In this stage I ask them to write a paragraph and answer these 2 questions : 1.What is your biggest dream in future ? 2.Why is it important to have dreams for future ?

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

After writing the paragraph they will change the hand writings with their partner and the text will be read out loud in class .we will be responsible for correcting the mistakes and encouraging students for writing better next section .
