Procedure (14-22 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
the teacher will ask about the photo on page14
Exposure (2-3 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
the teacher will ask the students to read the text and answer if they were right
Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
the teacher will ask the students which one is true a or b,she will draw a timeline on the board ,then she will play an audio
Clarification (4-6 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
the teacher will teach grammer she wil ask some questions from the students
Controlled Practice (3-4 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
the students will listen to track 39 and 41and answer questions then they will be given a handout and they will need to complete
Free Practice (2-3 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
the teacher will ask the students what they were doing at this time last day
