To provide fluency in the context of about discussing a new product.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation. Prioritize student talk and reduce teacher talk.
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
1. T sets timer for stage (5 minutes) 2. T shares screen 3. T gives instructions: (1 min) “Which famous brands have slogans you remember?” 4. T sends link and creates break out rooms (2 minutes) 5. Once time is up, T ends break out rooms 6. OCFB: T nominates a few students to share for 1-2 minutes
1. T sets timer for stage (8 minutes) 2. T shares screen 3. T gives instructions: 2 min “Listen to the meeting at Target Advertising. What type of product is Go!?.” 4. T plays the audio for for 2:49 minutes. 5. Once the audio is over, T will get students attention and put them in groups. “You now have 2 minutes to talk in groups about your answers” 6. Once 2 minutes is up T will end break out rooms and go over responses….
1. T shares screen. T gives instructions on vocabulary activity and do one example with them 2. Let ss work in groups on matching the correct answers 3. Pronounce each word and ask individual ss how many syllables each word has and (in case of stress) where the stress is
1. T sets timer for stage (10 minutes) 2. T shares screen 3. T gives instructions: (1 min) “Now design a campaign for a new product. Work with a partner." 4. T monitors break out rooms and writes some good and bad examples of the expressions. 5. After 6 (depending on lesson time left) minutes, T brings Ss back to the main room. 6. T tells students to switch partners and discuss another campaign.
T provides Ss with feedback on content and language based on your monitoring of the task
