Procedure (23-32 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
the teacher is starting to describe a natural disaster
Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
teacher teaches some vocabulary related to the topic
Controlled Practice (4-7 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
teacher asks students to guess the related vocabulary to the pictures,
Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice
teacher plays audio for second time and asks students to select the true answers.
