Procedure (47-58 minutes)
1. Read the questions in 4A. 2. listen to the three extracts from interviews and aswer the questions. 3. In pairs, compare answers.
1. Read the questions from 1-6. 2. Listen again and take notes. 3. In pairs, Answer the questions. 4. Share your answers with the teacher.
Part one: 1. Read the extracts 1, 2, and 3. 2. In pairs, underline/highlight the expressions that introduce a question. 3. Take turns, role play the questions. Part two: 1. Read the extracts 1-3. 2. In pairs, underline/highlight the expressions that introduce an opinion. 3. Take turns, role play. 4. Share your answers with the teacher.
Part one: 1. Read the scrambled sentences. 2. In pairs, put the words in order. 3. Read again to check for mistakes. 4. Read your sentences to the teacher. Part two: 1. Read the sentences 1-5 and a-e. 2. In pairs, sart matching the expressions. 3. Which ones are more formal? Put them in a sentence! 4. Listen to the expressions and determine the stress/intonation.
At this stage the teacher will provide a feedback on the usage of the target language and accuracy.
