Description
In this lesson, the students will learn to speak for specific details using their background knowledge. By the end of the lesson, they can use the things that they have learned to produce language through a speaking task.

Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
The students are asked a gist question and they should all answer it according to their background knowledge and personal experience.
Pre-Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible
Some lexical items are pre-taught in this stage and the meaning is elicited.
While-Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
The students are asked to listen for some general information.
While-Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks
The students are asked to listen for specific details and do some tasks.
Post-Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
The students are asked some questions and they should answer them according to the reading text that has been just covered.
