Feelings

Description
In this lesson, the students will learn about some vocabulary items and -ed and -ing adjectives about feelings. By the end of the lesson, the will be able to talk about their own feelings and personalize the target language.

Procedure (44-59 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
There is a gist question at the beginning of the lesson and the students should answer that.
Test #1 (5-8 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language
The students are asked some questions about their feelings and they should use their background knowledge in this stage.
Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
The target language is taught here by showing some pictures and elicitation.
Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test
The students are asked to do the exercise according to the newly taught language.
Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
The students are asked to talk about their personal experiences using the vocabulary items and personalize the target language.
