In this lesson, students are going to work on a listening and answer some questions. Before that, they learn some new vocabularies.

To provide gist and specific information listening practice using an audio about arguing between couples

Warmer/Exposure (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage, the students are asked to look at a picture and share their ideas. This will help students to get familiar with the topic.

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

The students are going to learn the meaning and pronunciation of some new vocabularies.

Clarification (2-3 minutes) • Listening for gist

In this stage the students are going to listen to the audio for the first time and say who are Jack and Emma and what has happened to them.

Controlled Practice (4-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

In this stage, the students listen to the audio for the second time and should answer to 4 questions.

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

For free practice, the teacher asks students to talk about invasion of privacy with their partner and then share their ideas with the whole class.
