Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Warm up... individually, orally in 1 minute ... " what is it ?" I can speak all the languages. i run around a house but I can’t move. what you break it before you use it How much time will you take? Will you answer individually or in groups? will you answer orally or in a sheet of paper? Lead in I show the students some photos and ask them to look at them and answer orally, individually in 2 minutes How many people in this picture? one Is she happy ? How many people in this picture? one Is she happy ? No who will you do in this problem? Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I start to ask the students some questions and they answer orally -If you have a problem in your mobile phone..who will you get to fix this problem for you ? --I will get my brother to fix it . -There is a difficult sum in your Math homework who do you have help ? I use the speakers and play a song about "Causative get and have"

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Today we are gonna study "Causative get and have" You can use get and have to talk about asking other people to do things for you. When you want to show who you ask, you can use get+ someone + to + verb or have + someone + verb. I get my brother to fix my car. We'll get my sister to choose colors for our house. My hair looked bad, so I had a hairdresser cut it again. I didn't pay to have someone repair my dishwasher. ___________________________________________ When who you ask is not important, use get or have + something + past participle. I get my car fixed at my uncle's garage. I always get my hair cut professionally. We're having a new house built now. It cost a lot to have the water damage repaired. I clap my hands to get the attention of the students.. What are we talking about? "Causative get and have" How do we use it? When you want to show who you ask, When who you ask is not important . Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I use the data show and show some sentences to the Ss and I ask them to rewrite them individually.. in a sheet of paper..in 10 minutes . Freer activity.. I ask the Ss to open the book and read the texts P.66. feedback... I talk generally to the whole class and say while you were working on you task I heard you saying .. I have my brother to fix things but as we said "get+someone+to+verb" so it is I get my brother to fix things. I get my hair to cut at a good hair salon but as we said "get/have+something+past particiaple" so it is I get my hair cut at a good hair salon.
