Procedure (38-46 minutes)
I will ask the students to state what is pictured in the 3 photos then I will ask the question "What are the good things and bad things the could happen on holiday?"
I will introduce the two words Brochure and Postcard by choosing a student to read for the class the definition on the slide. Then I will highlight that brochure is formal and related to organizations or businesses and the Postcards are informal ways of communicating with family and friends. I will send the google form and tell them they have 2 min to fill it out. Then they will check answers via DM if there is time, otherwise I will skip to OC feedback. Answers: BPPPBBPPBBPB
I will go through the next 5 slides pointing out and asking students to read definitions, tell wether the vocabulary is countable and what form it is. I will also do choral practice for pronunciation.
The students will fill out the google form I send in chat and then they will check their answers with a partner via DM then we will go over the responses as a class Answers: sightseeing, excursions, nightlife, scenery, accommodations
I will introduce the question "which of these are most important to you on holiday?" I will then lead the students to specifically use the words that we worked on when answering this question. I will send the words in chat so they can us them while they are in breakout rooms. Then they will be brought back to the main room and I will provide feedback.
