Procedure (51-66 minutes)
Ss will be put into pairs ( break out rooms) to discuss the warm-up Qs : Do you like holidays? Why? Why not? Talk about the best holiday you went on. What did you do? Talk about your worst holiday. What happened? Describe your dream holiday.
The teacher will ask Ss to complete the sentences with the following words : Scenery-Luxurious-Excursion-Canoe-Immigration-queue.
The teacher will check answers with Ss . She will clarify meaning , pronounciation and form. She will ask CCQS to clarify the meaning, such as Is it cheap ? Is it comfortable? ( Luxurious) Then, the T will drill the words chorally and individually. Finally, she will write the word and clarify the form
The T will send Ss in the chat box a link for a kahoot game. They will play the game individually. THe game tests their understanding of the new vocab.
The teacher will put students into breakout rooms. They will have to use the new words to make a story about their worst holiday .
