Main Aims

  • To provide practice of wake up early ,wash my face, do some sports, eat a healthy breakfast and go to school in the context of Daily routine

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide fluency in speaking practice using expressions like: Every day I wake up early ,I brush my teeth and I go to school in the context of Daily routine

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher ask the students about their morning routine she asks them (what do you usually do every morning?) .

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Teacher shows students some pictures of their mourning routine , asks them to work in groups and put the pictures in order.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

ِِAsk students to describe each picture. Use the ccq (do you do it every day?) (is it a routine?)

Drilling (5-8 minutes) • to help students identify the form of the target language

Write the sentences on the board. Drill the sentences chorally: I get up early every morning. I wash my face every day. I exercise every day.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

The teacher gives students Ho1 and asks them to work individually . He asks them to choose the correct Answer. Ask them to check in pairs. Show them the right answers.

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Give them Ho2 and ask them to write 3 sentences to describe the pictures of the daily routine. Ask them to work in groups for 3 minutes. Check the answers together. Ask some students to write the sentences on the board after sticking the pictures.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Regroup the students and ask them to speak about their after-noon routine or what do they every day after they're back from school. in 5 minutes ask some of them to speak about the activity.
