Grammar: To learn and practice the object pronouns in relation to the subject pronouns.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide ss semi-controlled speaking practice to develop spoken accuracy.
Procedure (31-44 minutes)
T shows a pencil to the ss and asks ' What is this?'They will say it's a pencil. T writes it on the board. And t gives an instruction using an object pronoun eg. Drop it, bite it,throw it,touch it (t does a little mime to help the students follow the instructions if they have a problem). while the students are doing these, the teacher writes a few examples on the board.T also shows other objects (books, chair..) After a while ,t encourages students to start giving instructions to each other.
T sticks some pictures on the board and asks students to talk about these pictures with their partners. There are people , animals, or things on the board. After they discuss a few minutes the t asks questions to them what are they ? who is he ?etc. and also asks ( Do you like it?,do you hate it?) some questions to the students and write the answers on the board underlining the object pronouns. Teacher draws two tables on the board and checks the concept .
T tells the students look at the board and there are the subject and object pronouns on the board from the previous practices.T focuses on the examples and ask ss ;do you think are these different for example ; She is Shakira. I like her ( focuses on she and her here) T Writes the list of subject pronouns and explains, then write the object pronouns next to them and explains with the examples.t tells that subject pronoun comes before verb and object pronoun comes after a verb ( shows the examples) T also makes drilling with the pronouns.
T gives a hand out .There is a table on the page The ss will fill the table with the correct object pronoun.Then t makes the ss pairs and gives them a sheet ' love and hate'. Each student has a sheet and they will write the names in each box and then they will ask and answer each other eg.what do you think of Istanbul? .I love it, It's amazing etc. T also has the same sheet and fills it to make the activity clear for the students.T gives students time here to practice ,then some pairs do it to the class. Then the ss will do the gap filling activity and check quickly( teacher gives them them the answers and they will check )
The ss asks question to the questions from the previous activity. The ss answers the questions accordng to themselves and at the end the pairs will do it to the class
