Procedure (41-55 minutes)
The T writes on the WB the word "Green" and will ask the Ss, in pairs, to make a quick brainstorming on what this word suggests them. All words, relevant or not, will be written on the WB around the word "Green".
The T projects a video on the subject of pollution. At the end of the video, FB on the board and skimming predictions: which words should stay, which other should go?
Using the visuals, the T introduces new vocabulary. Initially, the T tries to elicit from students the new words, and model those that are totally unknown.
Once elicited or modeled the new words, the T will pronounce and drill them, individually and chorally. One by one the words will be written below the corresponding image.
Ss will use the words learned to complete the exercise (gap fill). Correction in pairs and, finally, on the board using a PPT.
The T will divide the Ss into groups and ask them to compile a list of 5 tips to a more eco-friendly life. After a first speaking session, they'll be given they'll be given a list of tips taken from the book. Ss will compare it with what emerged from their discussion. The final activity will be FB with the WC.
