Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T displays the image "job interview". T: LOOK AT THE PICTURE ----- WHERE ARE THOSE PEOPLE?(iN AN OFFICE? WHAT IS HAPPENING?(THEY ARE INTERVIEWING THE WOMAN) WHY ARE INTERVIEWING HER (FOR A VACANT POSITION) WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE? THEY ARE EMPLOYERS OR MANAGERS AND THE CANDITATE) HOW ARE THEY DRESSED? DO THEY LOOK SCRUFFY?(UNTIDY, LOOKING A LITTLE DIRTY,NO) DO THEY LOOK TRENDY?(MODERN AND FASHIONABLE, NO) DO THEY LOOK SMART?(YES) DO THEY LOOK PRESENTABLE?(YES)

Exposure (6-6 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T will do an activity using a jamboard! Ss will have to elicit and decide (among different options) the dos and donts in a job interview. T will put Ss in pairs using BORs T will share a link with Ss T will show and discuss some answers Ss will explain their answers

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

T writes on the chat box " Don't forget to wear smart clothes/ Wear formal clothes It is better/important to be on time. You should make I contact. You must arrive on time. You have to look smart. Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

T writes the forms next to each sentence: Forms should + V (base form) have + v (infinitive) must + v (base form) Meaning T goes over the concepts, uses and shows real sentences Pronunciation practice,drilling, choral group (muted microphone) and words stressed

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
