At the end of the lesson, students will be able to provide accuracy and fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of likes and dislikes.

To provide gist reading practice using a text about everyday activities.

Procedure (39-46 minutes)
Teacher divides the students into groups of 4. Ask them to have a paper and a pen. Give them 2 minutes to write as much everyday activities as you know. Demonstrate with them by asking one of the students to give an example for everyday activity. They start writing. Teacher monitors the student. Then after finishing, ask each group about the number of the activities hey write. Then in pairs each 2 will talk together and talk about the activities they do everyday. Teacher monitors. Teacher nominates some students to talk about their partners answers (Content feedback)
Teacher gives students Reading text and says: "These are answers of people who were asked about the everyday activities that they like and dislike." Read their answers in 2 minutes and answer this question: "If you had to post your answers, which of these answers would be similar to yours?" individually. After finishing, discuss your answer with your partner. Teacher monitor students. Give them content feedback by nominating some students to say their partner's answers to the question.'
Teacher presents some expressions and words on the projector and asks students to read and underline these words and expressions. Teacher then asks the students to label the words and expressions to (like adjectives, dislike adjectives, like expressions, dislike expressions) in groups. Then teacher check the answers with them and introduce them using MPF (eliciting, CCQs, drilling, form) teacher asks about synonyms for the expressions and adjectives and wait for students to answer.
Teacher then divides the students into two lines. One line will be the interviewer with mic. and asks the other about what everyday activities like and dislike, the other will answer using the expressions and the adjectives. . Then they will shift and give the other their mics to ask them the same questions. Teacher monitors students and takes notes for the feedback.
Teacher gives them content feedback by nominating some students to say their partners' answers. Teacher then writes 2 correct sentences and praises the students saying: "I heard really good sentences." Teacher writes 2 incorrect sentences saying: "What do you think of these?" and let the students answer and correct them by themselves (peer and self correction).
