Procedure (44-54 minutes)
Teacher uses mentimeter to engage students with the topic " Sustainable and ethical Fashion".
Some of the new vocabulary is given through sample sentences and visuals via kahoot game.
P.149 exercise 3 is done as a gist task. Then, exercise 4 is done as a group competition. In 2 groups, students will try to give the correct answer for the statement the teacher reads. The faster group to give the correct answer from the chatbox get a point. Additionally, students should orally state the correct information for the false sentences.
Students should infer the meanings of the words from the video and sentences given in exercise #5 p.149. Then, in pairs they negotiate about the meanings then, they write a sample sentence using those words.
In groups, each student talks min. 1 minute as an answer to each question that is related to the video or the topic, on the wheel. Groups should use timer to make sure everyone gets an equal amount of time.
