Procedure (40-61 minutes)
To start the lesson, Teacher will show some pictures related to restaurants and waiters and payment methods to ss and asks questions based on the context of the pictures. Ss have 2 minutes to discuss and provide the class with an answer
Teacher will start with the first task and starts the listening. The listening will be played twice, once with pause and then without any pauses. The first time Ss just listens to the listening and for second time, after each sentence, teacher pauses the listening and Ss should repeat the sentence along with the teacher. Hence, Listening Comprehension comes to the scene. This part, includes 5 tasks, which Ss should listen to it and then answer each of the 5 tasks. After answering, the pair work comes in and the students start checking each other’s work.
Then comes part B, teacher put the Ss in different batches and they should be in pairs. Each group should read the conversation and clarify their doubts and then read it one by one.
Teacher will then build a conversation based on the students creativity and askes them to play that scenario in the class to check whether the Task was completed successfully or not. Teacher should monitor the Ss and write each groups mistakes on the board and give them a point at the end (Descriptive A-F pointing)
Teacher teaches 6 words, that maybe new for the Ss, Vocab analysis should be done and taught respectively.
There is a part in page 45, (Speak to a server and pay for a meal) each group of the students should complete it alone. After that, Ss will have to open page 36 and then answer the questions of part 12 in pairs. After finishing this practice, each group will read one answer. As the last exercise Ss will complete the ending of page 45, each pair should discuss the answers with each other and teacher should monitor them. When all of them are done one volunteer should give a brief on what was taught in the class
