Procedure (29-41 minutes)
Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Ss paraphrase the events from the story and predict the order of events
Exposure (5-7 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases
Ss listen to the story, check their predictions, do gap filling with TL phrases
Task (4-6 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
Ss devide TL into groups and retell the story using TL
Planning (4-6 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to plan students' reports
answer the question about the pics, listen to describing the pic
Language Analysis (2-3 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language
work with stress
Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went
