To provide fluency speaking practice in a powerpoint presentation in the context of Elon Musk.

To provide product writing practice of a reports in the context of presentation.

Warmer/Lead-in (5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

1. In pairs, the students will discuss the question: What do you know about Elon Musk? 2. The students will share their answers with the class.

Exposure (10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

1. Expose the students to the requirements of the task. 2. Expose the students to use vocabulary and expressions.

Task (10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

1. Ask the students to create an initial outline for their presentation. 2. Provide support on organizational planning.

Planning (40 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to plan students' reports

1. The students will begin the actual planning. 2. I will provide support with emerging language and ideas.

Presentation, discussion and feedback (40 minutes) • To present the project

1. Each team will present their PowerPoint. 2. We will have a quick discussion about each presentation. 3. I will provide feedback mainly on fluency.
