To provide clarification of daily routines' lexis with exercises from simple present tense.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide accuracy speaking practice in the context of daily routines.
Procedure (35-48 minutes)
T will start with Time Dominoes game to review of time. T will split them into two groups to play this game and with their groups they will practice telling the time.
Teacher will ask questions to elicit the verbs. For ex. what do you do at seven o'clock in the morning? what do you do at 10 pm in the evening? They will answer , I have breakfast at seven o'clock in the morning, I have dinner at 9 pm in the evening. Teacher will show pictures of daily routine for eg. get up, sleep, have breakfast, have lunch... ex.1
Teacher will try to explain simple present tense with daily routines. Teacher will encourage them to make sentences with the verbs given. Then, Teacher will try to explain the tense in terms of meaning, form and pronunciation by using WB.
T will give hand outs to fill in the gaps with simple present tense(exercise 2 ) and want them check their answers with their partners, then WC feedback about this exercise.
In the hand out which was given before, students will try to do exercise 3 and then they check their answers with their partners.
T wants them to talk about their regular day with their partner.
