Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

As this is the first class, I will start by telling the story of me at my first job in Denmark and how hard t was for me to achieve different degrees for greetings according to the group of people I was with.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

How important is to get the first breakdown with another person right. Which are the phares and situations where you can use one expression or the other and how long should it takes to make a good presentation.

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Make students to prepare their first presentations for two different kind of groups.

Eliciting and Participate (6-8 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to take out those terms that they already know

I will use the opportunity of recording a video for a job position and another one for getting tickets to a big party

Practice stage (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to practice some different forms of the verb to be using different persons

Play a game where we tell the secrets of the other in the group using verb to be

Production stage (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to write some of the terms they learned and to create a more complete idea

They have to write some of the best secrets they heard in the last game using all the persons.

Homework (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language
