To provide process writing practice of a describing and speaking practice of fluency in the context of personality characteristics.
Procedure (24-33 minutes)
(İnci) T asks how are the Ss to measure their motivation. Then T reminds what they did in the last lesson and ezplains what do they do in this lesson to Ss. T explain what the word chain game is and then T tells an adjective, asks for find an adjective with the last letter of the choosen adjective by T.
(Fatma Nur) T hands out the hand-drawing portrays of the Ss. Ss are wanted to write an adjective to describe their personality. Then, during the lesson T calls Ss with their adjectives (e.g. hilarious Fatma, energetic İnci, etc.).T hands out empty papers to Ss. T asks Ss to write a sentence using at least one adjective on the paper. T gives Ss 3 minutes to write their sentences. When all Ss done, T chooses Ss randomly to read loudly their sentences. ıf there is an any mistake, T corrects them in a kind way.
( İnci) T explains the taboo game to Ss. T separates the class into 2 groups. One member from each group is choosen as a narrator. They have 2 minutes for a round. Then next turn is on the other group. Ss can want a hint from T if they have struggle with telling the adjective.
(Fatma Nur) T explains what is and how they can use Kahoot and then, shares the game code to the Ss to play Kahoot. There will be only 1 game on Kahoot. Ss try to find the correct adjectives with filling in the blanks with their team-mate on Kahoot(Ss play kahoot on team mode because if you want to play it more than 10 people, you should pay 5 dollars.). If any of the teams makes a mistake, T explains the question(s) to whole class. At the end of the game T congrats the winner team and informs Ss about their subject for the next lesson which is comparative & superlative adjectives.
