Procedure (38-47 minutes)
The teacher shows a picture of an expensive car and says that someone bought this car yesterday; she wants them to guess what this person is like - she wants to elicit the sentence "he must be rich" . Then she asks "Do we know this person?" and the answer is no. The teacher elicits the sentece "The person who bought this car must be rich." and changes "the person who" with the word "whoever." Then teacher gives three more model sentences related to the same person to give and check the meaning. The teacher does pronunciation and drilling exercises at this stage.
The sts match the questions with the answers to make a conversation. Then they check their matchings with their partners and sts read the correct answers as a conversation.
The teacher asks them to fill the blanks with the words given. They check with their partners after they do individually. And students read the answers in the class.
Sts fill the blanks with the TL language this time. They check their answers with their partners and read the sentences in the class.
The teachers gives the sts speaking cards with a wh- question on it. The sts write an answer in pairs and read the conversation in the class.
The teacher sets the context saying that they are going on holiday and they need to ask questions to their partners and the partners will answer by using -ever words. They will stand up and speak to each other in groups of two or three.
