cover Their previous travel experiences to provide making clear and practice of the past simple in the background of travel
Procedure (70-85 minutes)
Students have a look at the photo of someone who is in trouble or to something bad that happened to him while traveling and ask their ideas
In the phase teacher starts talking about that picture which she has given to the SS before, Teacher adds some new sentences and uses past form of verbs ,also asks SS to repeat some of sentences , she can write some of sentences on the board and underline the verbs (that way SS can focus more on the verbs ) ,or play a video or a listening about past and get SS attention about the past forms of verbs
At this stage students have to look at some pictures which are some new verbs about travel activities to practice more new structure then give 5 min to students To talk about their own stories and use those new verbs and for knowing more details about the travel experiences they should use the past tense and practice the conversation in pairs under the supervision of the teacher
Describe some new words about the topic through context And look for synonyms and part of speeches in dictionary Students read sentences and understand the meaning of the words then they should make new sentences and put the right words in the suitable place to get the exact meaning of them in English
To provide gist,specific information and inference listening practice First students should explain about the listing which they have worked befor then they should talk about it individually then Teacher will play the listing audio which is a conversation between two friends whatever they can listen
part A :for the pre-reading section there are some questions that the teacher will ask students to engage and get them familiar with what are they going to read Hard to be this students will start with having explanation about passage and after that Teacher will ask for no words and then she or he will explain new words and also clarify MFP which is the meaning forms and Pronunciation of each word and teacher asked them to make sentences with some of new words as feedback and also point to key phrases and useful phrases part C and D These tasks are for reading for details so students should answer these parts and check them in person under Teacher supervision when they finish Teacher will focus on the grammatical sentences and ask them to underline and highlight grammatical structure which is past simple
