Procedure (31-39 minutes)
Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Showing the lead-in picture and eliciting the passenger's feeling and his problem(flight delay)
Pre-Reading (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text
Asking "what they would do if their flight delayed" while mentioning their favorite airport or the airport where they have been to. Then writing the name of the airports mentioned in the reading and asking learners to guess what might be possible to do in those airports.
While-Reading (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading task
Asking them to answer While-Reading questions.
Post-Reading (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
Role-play imagining two friends are in the airport and their flight is delayed. They should talk about what they are going to do while waiting for their flight.(using BE GOING TO)
