Procedure (37-50 minutes)
Review of Antonyms -Let’s Spot the Opposites- PPT will be shown and teacher will ask if they remember any antonyms and which one do they remember.
Teacher informs the students that they will create a poster of antonyms.As an example, teacher shows one of the cards like -slow- and asks students what is the antonym of it. Teacher sticks two cards on cardboard like they are pieces of puzzle.
Teacher shows -slow- and -fast- card and says -The opposite of slow is- and students completes with -fast-.
Students (in pairs) come in front of the class and they try to find two cards that fit each other and stick these cards on cardboard. Pair of students will create one sentence together and write it on the board like: The antontym of black is white.
