To introduce and provide practice of speaking for fluency in dealing with problems on the phone.

To provide deduction listening practice using a text about problems on the phone
Procedure (45 minutes)
Provide questions to get the student thinking about phone calls and personal experiences with problems on the phone. Students work in BoRs to discuss
start with activity for M- list TL and have students categorize the terms into the appropriate group by answering in chat. Run through each category to break down TL for form. model the TL and have students place the stress and intonation of phrases. Provide a listening activity to have students have a model of the TL in context. students will listen to audio and determine what kind of problem happened.
Students will be put into pairs. They are given 3 scenarios to choose from for a role play activity. students will take turns playing part A and part B. After 5 minutes I will place the students with another partner so they can repeat the task. If time allows, a 3rd pairing will take place or have a pair of students volunteer to share their "phone call" with the class.
Provide examples of good and bad language monitored during the speaking task. Have students work together to correct errors, eliciting if necessary.
