in this lesson, students learn functional language to benefit them in their everyday lives, with the TL being used on a daily basis. the lessons starts with a discussion about rules of politeness in the Egyptian culture, then followed by presentation of TL, and after that a controlled practice for using the TL, and lastly freer practice

Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
