Procedure

Exposure (1-2 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a conversation about the wedding of the T's sister

T reminds Ss of their previous discussion that they had on the topic of her sister's wedding

Presentation (4-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

T starts talking about the item of clothing that she likes for the wedding and she teaches all the vocabulary needed for the lesson through a guided discovery in the context of shopping T elicits the words. T works on the correct pronunciation and asks for drilling. T writes the word on the board. T asks some CCQs.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

T asks Ss to match the photos with the words they have already learned. Ss check answers in pairs T provides feedback.

Free Practice (2-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T asks Ss to discuss some questions they have been given about their last shopping experience

Error correction (2-4 minutes) • to provide Ss with the chance to correct their mistakes

T writes their errors on the board. T asks Ss to try to correct the wrong items in pairs. T asks for the corrected version and provides feedback
