To provide clarification, practice and review of frequency adverbs and expressions with the present simple, in the context of routines and habits.

To provide accuracy speaking practice using the frequency adverbs and expressions with the present simple, in the context of routines and habits.
Procedure (48-32 minutes)
1. Take two minutes to read the text for the gist. 2. Take another two minutes to discuss the questions in the 'Think about it" section with a partner, then share your ideas with me.
1. reread the text but this time, pay attention to the words in bold. 2. After reading, share with us the meaning of these words.
1. Now, take a closer look at the timeline, discuss it with a partner. 2. Individually, do the "About You" exercise. 3. After finishing, ask your partner, "How often do you....?". 4. Briefly, share some of your answers with me.
At this stage, I will clarify and demonstrate the following: 1. Meaning, by eliciting and asking CCQs. 2. Form by breaking down the sentences and understand how the grammar works. 3. Pronunciation by asking the students to drill individually and chorally and draw their attention to the stresses in each sentence.
1. The students will do exercise 20. 2. While they are working, I will support the target language and indirect correction by eliciting the correct answer, 3. After they finish, we will check the answers together.
1. I will demonstrate first. 2. Talk about your typical day/week. Use the frequency adverbs with the present simple. 3. After they finish, I will provide feedback on both accuracy and fluency.
