Description

In this part of the class the student is going to learn some lexical items to improve her English skills and to get ready to use an English book.

Materials

Abc Power point presentation a the feelings
Abc Image with the parts of the body and face.
Abc Wordwall platform
Abc An Image With some people to describe their clothes
Abc zoom

Main Aims

  • At the end of this class the student the student will be able to say how she feels and identify the parts of her body using new lexical items.

Subsidiary Aims

  • to learn new lexical items about feels and the parts of the body and the face.

Procedure

Ice - breaker (3-5 minutes) • To activate student's schemata.

check the student's homework.

Warm up (10-15 minutes) • To activate student's schemata.

Play a game in the wordwall platform about the clothes.

1st cycle - writing and speaking. (45-50 minutes) • To help the student to develop her English Skills and to improve the lexical items that she knows.

Pre - task: Ask the student how she feels and if she knows some feeling in English. While - task: Teach the student through a power point presentation the feeling and emotions. Post - task: Show the student some emojis and she will have to say the feeling.

2nd cycle - writing and speaking. (40-45 minutes) • tasks

Pre - task: Show the student some flash cards and ask her to say the name of the part of the body. While - task: Show some images of the face and the body to the student so she can learn the parts. Post - task: Play a game with the student about the parts of the body and the face.

Cooler (3-5 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

To check that the goal of the class was achieved.
