Procedure (45-57 minutes)
T will show picture of her own family and elicit relevant vocabulary. T will ask Ss about their families through simple questions to engage
T will show the family picture on the board and give Ss the HOs. Students will listen to the text and fill in the names Ss check in pairs WCF
T will give the HOs. Ss listen again and choose the correct words. Check in pairs (T can play a second time, if necessary)
Ss listen and T drills
T will give" complete the table" HOs and pictures and Ss will work in pairs T will work on the chart on the board and give clarification (WCF)
T will give make sentences HO Ss work individually and check in pairs WCF
T will write incorrect sentences to elicit possessive 's rules and provide sufficient clarification T will give a HO of possessive 's tips to study at home
-T groups Ss and gives one envelope containing strips of papers with incorrect sentences on- to each group saying the first group to finish first will be the winner -Ss take it in turns to take one sentence from the envelope and correct the possessive 's use -T gives an answer key for Ss to check and take home
Ss will be given family tree HO to draw their own family tree quickly and will talk about their families with their partners (Ss will be asked to change pairs if time allows)
